A rare Cizhou jar from a Shanxi kiln with full mark. As far as I know the text on the shoulder reads as: Kangxi 2nd year (1663) in the 5th month-Li Xuen made me-in Shanxi province-Tanzhou Lingxuen County-Houzichen village. On the lower shoulder there are 4 poems of which I don not have any translation. Dim.: 65cm heigh, 44cm diameter. This is one of the very few jars with full date etc. that I have ever seen. Condition: Fine, no damage, no repairs, no repainted areas. Expected wear from use.
