A well casted iron bell from a temple, Shanxi province, Tongzhi mark- second year (1863), 9th month, first day. There's a lot of text that mentions that the maker was Lu Heng Chang and that the piece was made for the temple of the Dragon King. Further family names are mentioned who donated money for the piece to be made. Very clear and long lasting sound. Good patina. Notice the specific pattern on the inside caused by rain, dust and wind.
